I have severe emetophobia, and one time my nephew had something stuck in his throat and I had to shove my fingers down to make him throw it up, and he did all over me. But tbh in the moment you’re not thinking about, it’s just time to lock in

i’m the same, but when it comes to my kids, it just happens. I thought pregnancy and birth would be one of the worst experiences ever but I genuinely just did not care.

You genuinely get desensitized to a degree. Anything involving v*mit makes me feel ill, but when you're taking care of a sick kid you lock in.

Idk how to explain it but when it’s my toddler I just lock in like i don’t even care if I get covered in puke. Like making sure she’s okay and feeling better is my only priority yknow

some of it just comes with changes during pregnancy and the bonding after your baby is born. I was nervous about some stuff but so far it's been a lot easier, and I have emetophobia and a sensitive stomach.

Idk how else to say this but you just have to raw dog it. I had emetophobia and a SEVERE fear of needles before I got pregnant. Don’t give a damn anymore.

i genuinely hate throw up but when my niece gagged bad for the first time i put my hand out and caught it. it’s like instinct starts to lead
