@1exy_.png: #d3rlord3 || this was supposed so be a quick animation but it ended up taking 3 days 😢 ANYWAYYSSSS DEREKCENTRIC ANIMATION!!! I heard this audio and decided I HAD to animate my au of him and the king to it. I wanted to make the text Japanese/dutch to match my headcanon of the king using his native languages to better tempt him into unlocking his memories (at least my version of his ethnic backgrounds) but then halted at the idea when I realized I’m not fluent in either LMFAOO. A couple details I wanna point out (you guys can interpret this however you’d like but PERSONALLY): 1. The eyes opening are the same colour as “d3rlord3’s”.. I wanted to portray this part as if Derek was getting a tad bit too close to remembering everything and the eye opening was his mind’s corruption “d3rlord3” awakening to stop him from going any further. 2. The part where it flashes certain events that happened in the show is the king realizing that the locked memories are being breached/are leaking —> he handpicked what to show Derek to further entice him (the “remember who you are” part was to add onto this effect 😋) || #DAWTDE #SFAWTDE #slimeknight #averythemayo
