I am a doctor who took a gap year away from medicine and became a server. It’s been AN EXCEPTIONAL CHAPTER in my life. I developed a passion for serving and became damn great at it. It’s a great job. Taxing at times but still great nonetheless. I go back to medicine this summer but I just say that serving made me a better doctor!

I was working as a Management Consultant making a lot of money. I was miserable and wanted to be an adjunct college professor. It paid hardly any money but I was so happy and so fulfilled. Those students gave me so much love and I gave them so much hope for the future!
