It is the Philippines’ largest marine protected seascape, a cradle of biodiversity and a sacred passage between the islands of Negros and Cebu. This is water as life, as guardian, and as legacy. Tonight, I do not simply wear a costume, I embody the Tañon Strait: living, moving, and deeply connected to the people it sustains.
