Speech Pathologist here, beginning with a device can be so challenging (especially for parents because you already know what they are communicating so it can feel a bit redundant). Keep at it, you’re doing an amazing job! You are giving him opportunities to communicate with everyone he comes across, not just those who are familiar with what he already wants to say!

Amazing wins mumma 🩷 clapping so loud for you guys!!! we are getting our ACC next week for the first trial. We have been using our own iPad with the LAMP app and a go talk but bow we are hoping to get the actual device. It’s a long hard road my son is 5 now and non verbal and some days I feel like it’s pointless also but it’s not it’s just so overwhelming. Sending love 🩷
