@mindfullychris: It can be a hard call to make, and that is why family & support from loved ones is so important! Being sick is exhausting, especially chronically, and it can also start to become someones new normal.. on top of that, who wants to sit in the ER for hours with other sick folks when you wanna be in bed? The idea of burdening someone to take you or visit is real as well, and so please take extra care and time with those who are unwell, or struggle asking for help, and remember it is always better to be safe than sorry 🙏🏼❤️‍🩹. It's her 3rd admission this year and each time I had to convience her and essentially give her no choice - "I will be picking you in the morning and we are going to go together!" tip: Instead of an open ended question where their mind goes to all the guilt and pain, present a plan with support 🌸 OK BUT HOW IS SHE THIS CUTE STILL 🥹❣️ #hospital #er #momanddaughter #chronicillness
