I’ll be honest right after the breakup, I reached out to people I used to talk to. It wasn’t to flirt, but to distract myself, catch up, and vent about how much I still wanted the love of my life back. Still, it didn’t sit right with me. I felt convicted, so I cut that off, blocked them, and told her the truth. I only messaged them for a few hours, so it wasn’t ongoing. Now I’m left with regret, but also clarity. I know what I want, and I’m working on changing my ways and rebuilding my relationship with God.

No this is not the case every time. I clicked out of my relationship months before the break up and I still love him but the disrespect was too loud. I moved on fast because the acceptance of my relationship being over was already too real.
