@livingaslisa: Let’s Talk Kindness 🫶🏻 I’m constantly blown away by the amazing strength of people on TikTok sharing their journeys with cancer and other life challenges. For so many, this platform is a lifeline when they’re feeling lonely or isolated. Social media can be a supportive community, but it can also feel judgmental at times. It’s crucial to keep it real! Just yesterday, I looked all put together—one of my go-to coping strategies that helps me feel strong. But last night? Total different vibe. 😴 I barely slept for about three hours because of some tough side effects (don’t worry, I’ll spare you the details!). Today? A total write-off. But over the years, I’ve learned that it’s perfectly okay to take a step back. It’s okay to cancel plans and prioritise rest. Sure, it’s frustrating when you’d rather be out living life, but taking care of yourself isn’t a sign of weakness. In fact, listening to your body shows real strength 🫶🏻 Let’s keep lifting each other up don’t scroll on and ignore that friend or connection show them your support no matter how long they’ve been living with their diagnosis.
