@rangeless_: Bringing this 1998 Lazy Daze Class C RV out of the stone age ⚡️ First step is ripping out the weak 100W setup and replacing it with an 800W off grid solar system built to actually keep up with full time vanlife ⚡️ The goal is simple, a fully off grid RV with lights, ventilation, heating, AC, internet, and 110 outlets all running without ever needing shore power or a generator 🔋 In this video I’m removing the old TV antenna and the single 100W panel to clear space for a proper solar array, then patching the aluminum roof before mounting the new panels 🔧 Before ordering, I mapped the whole layout in CAD to make sure every panel fits because space on this Lazy Daze roof is tight and there’s no room for guesswork 📐 System is built for expansion too, wiring and MPPT controllers are already sized for 1200W with plans to add two more panels on a rear rack down the line ⚡️ For now we’re installing an 800W RV solar setup using 4 200W 24V panels from @RICH SOLAR and finally bringing this rig into real off grid territory 🌞
