target closed 9 stores in 2025 and plans to open 30 in 2026. Starbucks has 42,000 stores worldwide and closed 600 worldwide and is opening 650 new ones worldwide. people only look at what's closing, not what's opening new. its profitability that determines closers, which included rent and theft not just sales.

we’re boycotting target and walmart, the most common stores to get food at. i live in a small town, im not driving 30 minutes to a whole foods store to buy a pineapple for $15.

Boycotts do not work in modern day, they just don’t. Not with businesses as big as these. Targets sales are declining, but they’ve been declining since pre-COVID. It has nothing to do with the boycotts.
