That’s cool. Good way to see visualize the coil working. I normally take the screw out and lift, I want to hear that solenoid pop open and closed.

Gotcha, but it may pull amps, and it may be magnetic, but this doesn't prove that the valve is opening so it's basically a waste of time. Its just a different video for content

I just used the danfoss app this week. has a tool in it that detects emf specifically for solenoid.

Nice tip, I just grab it and gently try to rotate it, if it's energized you will feel it vibrate.

I have a magnetic button tester that spins. It also tells you direction. But there’s also an app for your phone now. You hold your phone up to motors or what you have here solenoid

oh the screwdriver method is just seeing if it has a magnetic field? lol I thought it was to hit the solenoid with a screwdriver to get the valve unstuck 😂
