@agatemagnet: Fossilized Seashell still attached to host rock!! Murdock Beach in WA state is absolutely amazing and so much fun to go looking for all sorts of different agates, fossils, concretions, and more! I definitely recommend going when the tide is low so you can walk further out to where the water is. Being out near the ocean, on a sunny day, I can't think of a better way to spend some quality time with nature finding ancient fossils! Please like, comment, share and save. Thank you! #agate #rockhounding #carnelian #pnw #fyp
You never used to say the location of where you were finding things but now you are. I'm curious as to why that changed.

We've been to Murdock twice because my 10 year old loves rock hounding. we park at the state access point parking lot. how far away are you on the beach from that point? I want to take him back and find better rocks and fossils. thanks!

I’m headed to La Pine, Oregon today. Do you have any places in that general area you recommend? I’m desperate 😩

Hi! I was wondering how you identify different finds? Do you have books that help you? Did you study geology or palaeontology? Or is it just experience? Could you give tips on how to identify fossils and rocks and gems? Thanks!
