You do NOT TIP 30%! You were taken advantage of. Typical tip is 15–18%. And you tip only if a wait person is bringing food to your table, filling your drinks, bringing extra items. Watch out for stores that try to get you to tip for nothing. You go into a store to buy a bag of chips. The register asks what tip you want to leave. Find the “no tip” button and press it. They’re hoping you’re not paying any attention and press “pay,” giving the corporation owning the store extra profit.

You pay by credit card because you get more protection in case of a stolen card or fraudulous transactions. Debit offers little to no protection. And because of the points you cumulate. Just pay your card immediately and no fees.

no, every state has different tax so you can’t go running around looking at that and it depends on what it is what type of thing you’re buying what classification so now everybody understands where their taxes

It’s 20% for tip. And 10% is way more than enough if there is no actual server. And if a counter clerk has tip option just say no.

In Ohio we don't pay taxes on groceries in the grocery store and I pay with my debit card cause I've never had a credit card by choice. In restaurant's we pay taxes on our meals.

So to up your rant let's start with tipping it's actually only 15 percent and you only tipping that at sit down restaurants. Second food tax changes with every state thats why they dont give you one out right price you pay tax on anything you buy here. Also your rant is valid on the roads yes they could be better and the ingredients in our food its a fight that never ends.

tax on good is dependent on the state your in, Maryland is 6% while Delaware right next to it has no tax at all, so the price is the price.

For the most part I'd agree. With credit cards use them. Pay it off right away. Use the rewards. American Express offers Airline miles so we use that one.

No a few states pay taxes on groceries so I don’t know what he’s talking about. There might be a few left, but I don’t know where I’ve ever gone. You don’t pay taxes on groceries. You do want retail, but we all know that and we just know that we’re gonna have to pay approximately 10 to 15% tax on retail.
