Mine was only 7mm and I had it biopsied, it was Medullary Thyroid Cancer. If it is at all solid get it checked!

I had a nodule and the same day I had a biopsy, biopsy came back inconclusive so they did another 2 biopsies and the cells were changing so I had half my thyroid removed, they did another biopsy on the thyroid once it had been removed and still showed that the cells were changing

Hi did you get a Fine Needle (FNA)?? I found a lump August and my ultrasound done start of March obviously with the visuals of the lump they immediately done FNA due surgery May

I had one that I didn’t know about. Had a biopsy which was inconclusive and then had to have half removed which was cancer and they gave me choice to remove either half as showed a benign lump but that was also cancer. Awaiting RAI now. I’ve done some posts on my page about it xx

I had an ultrasound that came back as benign but because my nodule was so big, I wanted it removing as it was causing breathing problems. They ended up doing a biopsy and it came back indeterminate. Removed half of my thyroid, tested it and it was cancer. Ended up having the other half removed and RAI treatment. I would say have the biopsy for your reassurance, as they told me from the ultrasound it was benign!

im waiting for my 2nd biopsy results. scanned feb 26 1.8 x 2cm mixed solid cystic with coarse peripheral calcification. scanned in 2019 and benign 1.3 x 1.5. my fna in March came bk benign but they have done a second ultrasound and biopsy which im waiting for results. I think I just want mine removed. cant be doing with the worry!

ive got a 4.7×2.9cm solid hypoexchoic hypervascular follicular pattern nodule im having it removed on tuesday as biopsy came back thy4 hoping its nothing but ive decided to get mine out as reccomended by my consultant and sergeon

Yep I’m going through the treatment now. Depending on the size it can be treated with just tablets. My endocrinologist has given me carbimazole combined with selenium (this you can buy over the counter). Taking it out means you will be on tablets for the rest of your life to replace the hormones that the thyroid isn’t producing which I didn’t want to do.

I’ve just had my right side removed. I had a 3cm solid nodule. Had a fine needle test and that came back not sure so they suggested surgery for them to diagnose under microscope. 2 days post surgery today

I had lots on my left side and had it out .Have left some on my right side and given medication to hopefully stop them growing. just had a parathyroid taken out on the right side as it grew a tumour on but still left the right side a only even though it’s got nodules on.Its a nightmare but I would have it tested and see if ok to leave in 🥰

I have a low risk multi nodule goitre quite large, had ultrasound, CT and waiting on a FNA for one of them due to size, then will probably surgery to remove it.

I've got a thyroid Nodule 6 years a go and i had checked recently as it had grown had ultrasound scan then had the needle biopsy as is 7cm came back in grey zone been on waiting list for 12 months for ent to see what they are going to do but will probably be surgery

Mine was found accidentally in a mri for something else . They put me on a two week cancer referral and I had the biopsy last week , it's 3cm but is partially pushing my wind pipe to the left . No news back from results , have an appointment with consultant in 3 weeks . They said it's 30 percent chance it will be inconclusive which in that case they will take it out anyway . I am expecting sugery even if it's not cancer , I have no symptoms or lumps but as it's pushing on my wind pup I am guessing it will have to go .
