I’ve always said that groundlings is one of the best acting classes in LA, you are not ALLOWED to be on stage as yourself or any variation of, so you’re forced to make big choices and get out of your shell! It’s great!

I haven’t found somebody who gives more specific feedback than Aaron Metchik at Actor’s Edge and his industry showcase for those who aren’t represented is legit he brings in a bunch of agents and managers from *very* reputable organizations, I was gagging.

The groundlings alumni is enough to go, yeah maybe they know what they are doing. Will Ferrell, Paul Rueben’s, Elvira, Melissa McCarthy, Cheri oteri, Chit, Mr miyagi, Phil Hartman, Jennifer Coolidge, Ana Gasteyer, Kristen Wiig, Cheryl Hines, Chris Parnell, Maya Rudolf, and soooooo many others.

I like this order tbh because groundlings really demands good acting. You can’t be yourself or be “funny on purpose” on stage. You have to be deeply in character - so in character that you can do random shit as that character

I’m at ZakBarnett Studios it’s the only studio I’ve been at but i like it and they have so many different classes to take host great industry panels and are on top of the current market while having so many successful “alumni” like storm reid, madeleine petsch, Danielle Macdonald, Kenny Ortega, Jonathan Davis and more
