It’s really subject dependent. Math and Physics require more discipline to learn the principles but once mastered doesn’t really need much studying before an exam.

Nearly 50 years ago my gym teacher, of all people, Mr McAleese said something that I have utilized my entire career, he said: I hear it, I forget, I write it, I remember, I say it, I know. I used that for my entire school and professional career. lock yourself in a room and speak to yourself about what you know and when you don't know it, pause read it, write it, and then continue to speak it👍

I actually did this when I was 13 yrz old moved back from UK to Czech forgot my language had to learned it all back at the same time was trying to pass my class that I was behind as they put me back into year 3 coz of the language barrier less than a year passed year 3 and the whole year 4 while I was in year 3 by my self by reading the books and playing acting in my bedroom as a teacher 😂no joke thought I was so smart teaching my self as a teacher 😂

I have five degrees. Read the textbook before the beginning of your semester (you're gonna do it anyway). Do the homework before the class lecture not after it (you're gonna do it anyway). Be the final editor on your group projects.You self learn, your teacher becomes your coach, and you control the output of your group projects. This is how you get a 100 percent average in all subjects. You also control your time, so you can volunteer without being overwhelmed. You can also play sports competitively because you don't fall behind. This is how you go to Ivy League schools on full scholarship. Read this again.
