Hong Dian, in general, not great. I did a review of the M2 Black Forest and while it FEELS nice out of the package, it’s just wildly unreliable and the writing experience felt soooooo cheap.

I have found that with Hong Dion, Asvine, Jinhao, etc it really helps to flush it out or put it in an ultrasonic cleaner before ink it. I also usually dip test it so that I can make any adjustments to the nib. My least favorite ink: Organic Studio's "Sheen Machine".

100% agree Georgia peach is very badly behaved! doesn't even work in refillable highlighters.
