@slayover50ugc: PET SCAN complete. I was told by the neurologist‘s office that at this point it goes really quickly. The PET scan radiologist does a quick report on the findings and send it to the neurologist, and then the neurologist contacts my family doctor, who will contact me. Apparently it should all happen by next week. I’m not sure in this case if it’s a no news is good news situation. Like I don’t know if they will let me know one way or the other. If it does take longer than two weeks, I will be able to read the report on my Nova Scotia health app. However, I noted when I picked up my medical report for CPP disability application that in the section where it says will this person get worse he ticked off the section yes and noted that I have a progressive disease. Very interesting because nobody has given me that official diagnosis yet#youngonsetalzheimers #youngonsetdementia
