This is a really good thought process. Believe it or not I believe some strategies can be good a diving as well, and it depends on who you are playing. Rocket for example can be really good at healing from the enemies back line. Don’t get comfortable, cause one they start dying and spawning back you will not be all the way in the back line anymore. I really enjoy Luna and Jeff because mostly Jeff can Pierce through people. So if you just position yourself behind a team(mate), you can heal and do damage at the same time. Sometimes it’s hard to maintain position though, especially if your team doesn’t know what you are going for

As a healer main, mostly c&d, invisible woman, and lately white fox, I focus SO MUCH on positioning. For abilities that can hit multiple targets, the better the positioning the faster you can charge your ults.
