it really is the little things. I worked late, often getting home at 1am. Not once did my ex turn the porch light on so I could see the door. But he would turn the bedroom light on at 7:30 the next morning when he got ready for work and wake me up.

1000%! My partner will put clean sheets and throw a fresh clean pair of pajamas into the dryer for me so I can put on comfy clothes when I get home. When he gets home I always come to the front door, grab his work bag, give him a huge hug. We do these types of small thoughtful things for each other constantly and no matter the day either of us have had, we are always a safe and warm space for each other.

I’ve always done this for him. And he makes me coffee, runs the shower, warms up the car and walks me out every morning I leave. We greet at the door everyday and eat cooked meals every night. ♥️♥️♥️
