@thebreastchapter: The longest loading page of my life… Sitting there with my husband, holding my breath, waiting to see if 5 months… 16 rounds…all the pain, tears, fear…if it worked. And then we read the words: “Complete response to chemotherapy.” No suspicious findings. Even the lymph nodes that were once enlarged…gone. I don’t think I’ve ever felt a moment like that before. Pure tears of joy. Relief. Gratitude. Happiness. But I want to be real with you…this does not mean I am cancer free. We won’t know that until after surgery, because there could still be microscopic cancer cells. But this…this is an incredible result. And we are so ecstatic and beyond grateful for this moment. This was the chapter that broke me in ways I never expected…but today, I get to say I made it through. And now…I walk into the next phase…surgery…with a weight lifted off my shoulders and a heart so full. To everyone who prayed, checked in, showed up, and loved me through this…this victory is yours too 🩷 We did it. #breastcancer #cancertok
