why did I read this and start crying? lol I think I 100% feel that way, but also feel like I'm not a good enough mother for them the way they need me to be. I get frustrated and tired, and lazy, and because I have zero time for myself I think I am wasting this precious time throughout the day with them to just block out everything and hide in my own little corner. and then I feel selfish for not doing more with them. teaching them, playing with them, showing them things that will make there world so much bigger all because I am feeling alone with no one to talk to. I don't know if anyone else feels this way but I wish I could do better.

I cry at the thought of an empty house some day. They are little now and cry at the thought of growing up and moving out. I tell them they can stay with me as long as they want when they grow up. They chime in with, “Forever, Momma!”, And I cry on the inside because I know that will change as they mature. I already miss them and it hasn’t even happened yet.🥹😩😭😭

One word: Guilt We feel guilty for wanting time to move faster and not always being able to be the best mother on earth. And we also feel guilty when we aren't able to take care of ourselves in the ways we were able to prior to motherhood. So while the good IS there...the guilt comes from all directions.
