My whole group WEPT watching Mārama down here in NZ last month. Just incredible filmmaking. (I also assumed “Normal” WAS the movie “Nobody” & have been confused why everyone was talking about it coming out again but now I see)

These comments aren’t it. I love the respectful way you review movies - you make note of which ones were never going to be for you instead of just saying it was a bad movie. Reviewers rarely have the personal insight to acknowledge that, which is why I don’t pay attention to reviewers usually. I’m sad for you that people can’t see the integrity you approach this with.

Mummy was beautiful but too long and boring. Saw Normal at Overlook and loved it. Chili Finger was really good too. Though my favorites were Leviticus, Obsession, Never after Dark, and Exit 8.
