Rural Texas town here, most European cities are walkable. Most American cities are not. A walk to the store in a town of 1,000 can take up to an hour and you have to cross high traffic highways. Small town living is different depending on where you live.

I moved away from my countryside to the big city for 10 years for my studies and just moved back in a small village here. Before I tried the city, I didn't care. Now that I'm back, I do, sometimes, miss having so many choices and variety but I would not trade my cozy little village for anything.

I move in a small town after growing up in London and living in other cities. I love the calm, nature and quaint life. However I struggle with the lack of mixed culture within the society or opportunities to experience city life moments, like theatre, music events etc.

I truly wish to live a quiet lifestyle in a small town like the one you are living in, as I experienced a fiew months in some places like these and It's not that bad🥰. I would say that big cities are too overstimulating nowadays, so you face so many options without any help in focusing on your deep needs. As a result, I eventually believe it all depends on what you need in your life in a certain moment of your life, so it's ok to change😍

I'd rather live in a peaceful place and have to go on a trip to see the city than the other way around. I'm so done with all the grey buildings all the people,the noice, the lack of nature...can't wait till me and my bf find a home away from the city
