To the first time moms who are scared be vocal as soon as you walk in “I am scared” helped me so much they calmed me. I have high anxiety and they didn’t even need to give me anything to calm down which is super common. Also it is not as bad as people make it out to be! Opt for the epidural it relieves the feeling of oh crap when am I gonna feel a pain. In the early stages get in the bathtub!!! Talk about pain management steps BEFORE labor progresses too much YOU GOT THIS MAMAS
