I'm analyzing this topic from another perspective and I want to share it. As an army man, pressure and stress is part of my entire day so the thing is that sometimes I take the easy way as a response against my own cortisol level. Instead of increasing it, subconsciously I take every decision possible to evite increasing my level of stress. At some point it is disgusted, that exactly moment where wisdom knocks the door and I see myself through my own eyes not doing the things that I would do. At some point, that sensation feels deep down the heart of a honorable man, but also is a human response against cortisol and burnout.
