its the same for us lower people on the totem pole that do the "dirty work" caring for ppls family or also known as " the help" as I've been referred too on many occasions. some of us do truly care and show love and respect for ppl we take care of.

I am a house cleaner and alot of my clients are elderly and/or disabled (I also have a couple of clients that are prior hoarders.) I keep my rates cheap to keep living in dignity accessible. I make significantly less than alot of cleaning influencers I see, but when my clients say that they wouldn't have access to a clean home if it wasnt for me it makes it worth it. Thank you for not taking advantage of the vulnerable.

that makes total sense! it would be horrible to pay so much for a loved one to have to go through that mentally and paying for other things and pay so much to clean it

My great uncle just recently self deleted, and I had to tell my aunt that the “cleanup” they do during the removal of the body is not good enough. Not a lot of people know they have to hire someone for the mess that’s left behind. I’m not sure she paid and I’ll be “cleaning out” that room with her in a couple weeks.
