My ex fiance and I broke up after 14 years together (3 months before the wedding) I lived in Florida and afterwards felt stuck. I decided it was time to leave and just start over. Everyone thought I was crazy. I Left my job that I had been at for 10 years, moved to North Carolina, and I have not looked back. Once I moved, a new/better job came up, I went back to playing tennis and being social, my mental health has been the best it's ever been, I met my boyfriend here, and my health is the best it's ever been. It was terrifying and everyone didn't think it was a good idea.. but now they see that I trusted my gut and it was the right thing to do for me. Growth is hard, but worth it!

I moved to nashville in the beginning of 2021 after I lost my job in Chicago during the pandemic. I am from Chicago and lived there my entire life. Made a new group of friends and was living my best life not worrying about love just focusing on friendships and my career. I then met my husband at the end of 2021 through a set up from a friend of mine. We never looked back! Moved in together in 2022, got engaged in 2023, married in 2024 and had our first baby boy in 2025. Turns out he is from 15 min from where I grew up. We have crossed paths many times in life during college and don’t remember each other. A true invisible string theory relationship lol. It took me started a brand new life somewhere new to thrive and find the love of my life! ❤️

My husband and I moved from a city to a very small isolated town for his work. I closed my small business and left my family to start our life in this small town. Even though we moved for his job, I found myself. I became healthy and happy. I felt so much lighter. I became a hiker, we bought a house. I changed careers and found a job that fills my soul every day. It’s over all a much simpler life but it was everything I didn’t know I needed. ♥️

At 55 I picked up and moved to Mexico. Built a house and started a Airbnb. After five years sold the property and moved to a new location in mx. I’ve now been here for 13 years. I just purchased a new home in mx for vacations and family and friends. Best decision I ever made. My advice would be do what feels right. Trust your instincts.

This is so ironic that Jason is settling in Nashville and you’re settling in NY.

Me and my husband seven years ago, picked up and moved from New York to Florida after we retired for a new kind of life. We kind of got tired of the cold nasty weather in the winter. We lived there for 56 and 58 years so it was a little weird in the beginning, but we’re glad to be here in Florida in the sun.🌴🐠

My story is literally the last thing you said! Moved from Cleveland to Austin almost 3 years ago, didn’t know a single person, just bc I felt like I needed a change while all my friends were settling down. Met a guy January 2025 and now we’re looking at rings 🥰

I moved to DC nine years ago next month, I originally applied for a role in LA within my company and they asked me to move to DC. I’d never even been here. Met my husband, got married have two kids, and my life has never looked the same or been better. It’s a true out of comfort zone experience that every person should do at least once in their life

Moved to Florida for growth and five years later and we never looked back. My husband and I grew in our jobs in ways we never could before and my son is thriving.

I moved from Florida almost 15 years ago to Texas where I didn't know anyone. I was an only child too so it was a big step for me moving so far away from all my comfort system. I moved for a job and then 6 months after got let go but God was all in this move. Even from me changing majors in college too because I probably would have never moved. I have been through some of the most amazing jobs since then, have so many amazing friends here, met my husband here and we have 2 beautiful girls and our own house. I have grown so much since taking that leap of faith and have learned so much about myself in all of it.

Moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2023, to follow a corporate opportunity that we'd already invested 9 years towards. Left an amazing village in South Dakota. Moved 2 kids, ages 9 and 4 at the time. 1 year later welcomed baby #3, very unexpected, but felt so blessed. My husband faced a newly recognized allergy to red meat, and any related by products - Alpha Gal in the same year. It's completely changed our perspective on health and wellness. We are obsessed what the area offers for extracurricular activities, like mountain biking, off roading, lake side adventures, etc.
