We’ve been dating for a year, her first birthday was few weeks we met, that day then I was not feeling well so I didn’t even check the date but then I couldn’t get her anything and yes I was broke that day but then I wished her, few days i set my calendar to 31st may that’s her birthday, not knowing it was 30th rather, but then I knew her last birthday I couldn’t do anything so for this one I really prepared, booked a place for us, bought her gifts and even wrote a hand written scroll for her two weeks before the day but hid it cus I wanted to surprise her, so Ive really prepared for this not knowing my date on the calendar is wrongly set and guess what I never asked her birthday day too cus I wanted to be an intentional man, showing her not need to ask something’s i will just a figure it out and make her a surprised birthday. So 30th, I was there with her was almost 5pm then is saw her send a picture to one of her friends and her friend posted her, then I was shocked aah wait, today was the birthday?? Thought 31st cus it’s even in my calendar so how? Anyways, i told her “Forgive me babe, my bad cus Ive really prepared for this but please let me make up to this cus Ive messed up” she declined although the day wasn’t done, I begged her so much, she wished her and gave the gift but then the placed i booked went down the drain, money wasted i told her we should go to the place since the day isn’t done yet or tomorrow we can go because I booked it 31st. She didn’t go, but I understand i messed up.
