Some microwave range hoods only exit is above the microwave and not outside of the house so it doesn’t do anything this is good

That only happens if you have the vent hood from your microwave venting back into the house if you have it venting outside, you’ll be fine

They have to be vented outside when the house is built. Most builders don't do that unless you have the house built and ask.

Most microwave hoods don't exhaust to outside. They recirculate the cooking air through charcoal filters back into the house. That's why they don't do much of anything and are useless. They need real hoods that vent to the outside.

When I cook meat, I tape a paper towel on my ceiling above where the microwave fan spits out the smoke. 😂

Mine does because it has a vent attached to the microwave which runs throughout the cabinet and then outside. It just doesn’t blow it nowhere

If you can afford it and have space for a regular microwave, get a real hood. Microwave hoods are weak and useless.

This actually works I thought it’s just a gimmick now I can’t cook without it, it’s not gonna take out the smell of cooking 100% but it helps at least 80% way better than just the range hood which is only 40%
