Palais du LOUVRE : très bel ensemble architectural , témoin d'un passé glorieux. (musée, salles d'Etat et des interieurs d'Etat impériaux ...).

I was so disappointed when I went to Paris into the Louvre and did not get to see this in person!! due to the Olympics coming there a lot of the exhibits were closed for slight renovations to make it better for larger crowds. This was one of them and I was devastated. It is absolutely exquisite.
