I love this!!! My moms “colorblind” and I’ve explained it to my kids that if I don’t SEE anyone’s differences, if they get break their leg I won’t see their pain, and if I don’t see their pain I won’t get pick them up, take them to the dr, ask for medicine, or get a cast for them… we have to see differences, to celebrate the beauty of those differences of course, but most importantly to fight for what those differences need to have. “If we don’t see other’s pain, we can’t help them feel better.”
