@dr_vulvarderm: angiokeratomas are benign growths in the skin. they are very common on the Vulva and when found on vulvar are calles angiokeratomas of fordye. they can bleed if traumatized. treatment is not necessary because they are considered benign but can be cosmetically bothersome. if treatment is desired for cosmetic reasons options include laser, cryotherapy, electrodessication and curettage and excision. #skingrowth #redskinbump #vulva #dermatology #pimple
I’m currently pregnant and noticed they have been popping up more and more closer to my due date. I do want to get rid of them but I’m curious if they actually go away after some time or are they permanent?
