I cannot afford my contacts anymore. Which really sucks bc I'm hella chronically ill and my glasses give me so much head pain. The arms of the glasses bother the sides of my head so bad!!! I miss contacts 😭 One box for me is literally $110

my glasses are SO expensive that even with insurance I can't afford them. I can use my insurance on a couple of months of contacts and stretch them to a year. I sat there and cried in my vehicle. people will say whatever they want to to justify all of this like it isn't all a nightmare. ugh

if my bestie didn't get a new prescription and give me her unused contacts i legit would not be able to see. i can't afford the eye doctor. i was literally just blessed enough to have a friend with slightly worse eyes than mine.

my glasses were $600 when I was in college in 2010 before then I couldnt get new glasses from not having i surface pay and I had to use my college financial aid to buy them now a pair with cheap frames are close to $900 if it wasn't for being able to get them online I wouldn't be able to afford them I hope there will be a time when contacts users can get yalls online too

I’m an optician. Thank you for still getting your eyes taken care of. It’s been difficult lately having to be the one adding this all up for patients. I wish insurance didn’t treat glasses and contacts as if they’re optional. 💜

Same. My disabilities cost SO much and it kiIIs me to pay for the ppp. Like I need this, but oh my gosh, why is my creams that barely work and don't last long compare to 5 hours of work. Why do my braces so my joints stay in place make me so sad to buy 😭

Glasses are even more expensive, for anybody telling you to switch to glasses 👀 but it doesn't matter. People with disabilities should have the financial freedom to use whatever assistive device works best for their condition, without going damn broke

I’ve been stretching out my meds. If I take a half dose every other day then I’ve got a enough to tie me over for a an extra few weeks.. It should not be over 150$ a month. AND IM IN CANADA.
