There are actually a few other options : You could use a bootable windows installation media, press shift + F10 to open up cmd and navigate to system32 folder on the C drive (could be D, E, F...use the ls command to identify the system drive) using the CD command, and then rename utilman.exe to something like utilman1.exe and cmd.exe to utilman.exe, and then after you click the accessibility options on the windows welcome screen it opens up CMD instead, run the command net user "username" * (if you don't know your username run whoami command),and then you'd be prompted to enter a new password and confirm, if you want to remove it just press enter twice and that's that. There's also the option to force windows to run the diagnostic mode, but it's basically the same thing, it's only good if you don't have bootable usb and running windows 7.

I always just take the drive out and connect it to another computer via usb and just open the drive and copy the files 😂
