I watched him take his first steps… and now I’m watching him walk ahead of me on this beach, growing into his own person. 16 years of learning, growing, messing up, trying again, and loving deeper than I ever thought possible. No one tells you how emotional it is… to see your baby become someone who doesn’t need you the same way anymore. But also… how proud you’ll feel watching them become exactly who they’re meant to be.
