@thedermdad: Those little bright red spots? Those are cherry angiomas 🍒 They’re super common, completely benign (harmless) growths made up of tiny blood vessels. Most people start noticing them in their 30s and they tend to increase over time. They tend to be inherited, thanks parents! What you should know: • Not dangerous • Not skin cancer • Usually don’t need treatment When do we treat them? • If they bleed easily • If they get irritated • Or honestly… if you just don’t like how they look Treatment is quick and simple using either a laser or a tiny zap with cautery.
