well thats the thing, in old American kids books like this, there was American flags in em with maybe Abe Lincoln or George Washington in em too. Its ok to teach kids to be patriotic, its ok to teach kids to read books with topics that are important like Patriotism. I see nothing wrong with this book, learning to read, yea so it has Lenin in it, so what. they were Soviet kids! its Patriotic for the time.
