@reshgala__: BASIL IS THE EASIEST PLANT TO PROPAGATE & MULTIPLY FOR FREE! All you need are cuttings from a basil plant and a glass of water! You can try this with grocery store basil too! WING NIAS HERE'S HOW TO PROPAGATE BASIL: 1. Take cuttings of healthy, non-flowering basil stems. Cut a 4 to 6 inch long stem, leaving small baby leaves intact on the mother plant to continue growing. 2. Strip off the leaves from the bottom 2 to 3 inches of the stem. 3. Place it in a glass of water making sure that no leaves are submerged under water. 4. Change the water every 2 days. 5. Roots should start developing in 7 to 10 days. Once roots are about an inch or two long, transplant into a well draining pot or container that's filled with rich, fluffy, organic soil. You can also transplant into the garden after your last frost date has passed. Watch your basil cuttings grow and enjoy the harvests!
