@npkrystalanne: Graves’ disease is an autoimmune condition where antibodies stimulate the thyroid causing excess thyroid hormone production. This leads to symptoms like tachycardia, weight loss, anxiety, heat intolerance, and sometimes eye changes (Graves’ ophthalmopathy). Diagnosis should include TSH, free T4, free T3, and thyroid antibodies such as TRAB and TSI. #GravesDisease #Hyperthyroidism #graves #AutoimmuneDisease #hyperthyroid

I have hyperthyroidism and potentially Graves (awaiting results) but I'm gaining weight/losing muscle/fluid in upper arms and thighs. What could be causing that? It's so miserable 😩

I have Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism. Everything on her list is accurate. I have tried and done everything on this list. And my doctor called me in March 2025 and said that I was in remission. I found out I had Graves’ disease and hyperthyroidism in 2016

I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer about a month ago! And I just found out the other day that I also have Graves’ disease which is causing hyperthyroidism! It’s just crazy because I had all the symptoms of Graves’ disease but it was constantly brushed off by doctors and people and so I kind of just viewed my symptoms as normal for me. So the diagnosis kind of came as a shock ngl

I’m having all sorts of symptoms right now. At first doctors thought crohn’s because of calprotein levels, so I have a colonoscopy. Everything came back normal. Then I had a blood test and my TSH is <0.01 but my doctor is saying that is my normal. I have been having symptoms since Nov 2025. And I can’t figure out what is going on. I’m having symptoms that align with hyperthyroidism, but I don’t know what to do 😅

How do we lose weight if we can’t get our heart rate up? I have graves but seem to be gaining weight and can’t lose.

Diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and potentially Graves' disease in 2023 didn't even know it the doctor didn't disclose I had potential graves and I put on almost 40 lbs afterwards. Lost weight with glps, lifestyle changes and working out. Now my thyroid levels are back to leaning towards hyperthyroidism and I'm being told i have graves again but my thyroid scan is not pointing to graves. TSH is low .38, T4 is normal, T3 normal, TSI is high 147, Thyroid Peroxide AB high 261, and still waiting on my TRAb results. I've been on 5 mg of methiMAZOLE since early April and it def has helped improve my levels but I def feel it's causing inflammation (weight gain) even though I'm still taking glps. I'm having a hard time with this diagnosis due to the fact that I've never dropped weight from it. Any suggestions on what's going on?

I have Graves and my hair litterally does not grow and has thinned out soo bad the last 7/8 years 😭 I dont take my graves medication (many reasons for that😒) so I know its not medication effecting my hair. Is there anything to fix this- the disease is bad enough but having hardly any hair left just makes it so much worse 🥺

No shade, my daughter, his grace disease. She got diagnosed a little over two years ago and before I was having such a wonderful time, she ended up in a grave storm before we even found out what was wrong with her so she was very, very ill.
