I’ve never seen so many shooting stars in my life 💫 (ad) The second we heard about this rare celestial event, we were SO excited to see it, but the closer we got the more it was looking like we were going to get completely skunked by the weather. The entire state of California was basically under clouds and weathery skies, but as someone who is extremely susceptible to FOMO, there was no way I was going to miss out if at all possible! We drove 3 hours south to a little patch of sky that was *supposed* to clear up right at 8 pm. It rained the entire drive down and we were not feeling super optimistic to say the last lol But when we got to our spot, the weather actually cleared!! and by the time it was dark we had a completely clear view of the sky!!! 🌌 The hope was to stay out there as long as the Milky Way was overhead so we brought blankets, a snack plate, and set up our @NEMO Equipment stargaze EVO-X camp chair to settle in for the night!! We use our stargaze chairs alllll the time for camping bc they’re so comfy, but we finally got to use them for ACTUAL stargazing and IT WAS SO COOL!! Being able to lean all the way back and look straight up at the sky without craning our necks made it a much more enjoyable stargazing experience 🌟 We spent hours under the Milky Way and got to experience the most incredible show I’ve ever seen 😭✨ (no camera could ever capture)! genuinely one of the coolest nights we’ve had all summer … 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼all my wishes come true!! 💫 #milkyway #stargazing #stargaze #shootingstars #nightsky
