We have flocks of Curlews where I live. It's wonderful. You wouldn't know they are threatened. In the South East Caingorms - mountain Glen with river flood plain fields

It’s just not the farmers you need to talk to. The gamekeepers are one of the main reasons we have so many curlews in our beautiful Dales. Please give them some credit!

Howth Adventures :
We used to have hundreds in Howth , on the mudflats at low tide and the farmland at high tide. Now the farmland is golf course and they get no peace , so they don’t stick around
