I didnt know whether to put an update or not on here. Obviously the first part was filmed with a naive optimism that the vet would give her some antibiotics, poultice her foot and she would be off for a week or two. Clearly i didnt understand the severity of what a nail can do to a foot. I thought that, although i dont have a large following by a long way, but that by putting this up anyone that does follow me will understand why Jellie is all of a sudden not featuring without me having to try to explain in a comment, but also to reiterate that sometimes the minor things need really urgent medical care. Had we not seen the nail, we would likely have thought she just had an abcess, not called the vet, poulticed as usual then it would have been too late. Secondly please dont think i filmed this for any other reason than i thought it would be a super minor issue, clearly if i appreciated the severity i woild not have even considered it, hence why part 2 is filmed a day later. I dont know at this stage if Jellie will return to ridden work, at the moment the focus is getting her through this week, and having my horse back at home where she belongs. If i am quiet on the content for a bit, i am sure you understand as i just feel like spending time with my horses without filming for a bit.
