I really do pray that it’s meant to be. I know we weren’t perfect and I know we both had our wrongs but I do believe that God told us to end the relationship for a reason. I put my ex on a before God and God ended my relationship before he knew I would never get better or refocus my priorities while I was still with him. Idolatry is a heavy to deal with and even harder to work on. I know God wanted to spend time with both of us alone to help restore us but I also have faith that maybe one day when we’re healed God will allow us to be back together and that we’ll be even stronger for it. Nothing is impossible for our Lord and Saver so for now I work on loving myself and giving God his rightful place in my life all while having faith that God will work miracles. There is nothing our Lord can’t do. Psalms 37:4 “Delight yourself also in the LORD, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
