Semakan mendapati pemilik kedai berkenaan diarahkan untuk memindahkan wang tersebut ke sebuah bank di Myanmar. Kereta mangsa pula ditemui di kawasan kebun kelapa sawit di Lorong 11. Difahamkan, sepanjang tempoh kehilangan mangsa, keluarganya tidak menerima sebarang panggilan meminta wang tebusan. Pihak polis sedang menjalankan siasatan ketika ini termasuk mengesan suspek yang dipercayai warga asing.
