As a top tier Wanderer lover, I must say Kazuha is so important to Wanderer's lore. Not only is his story quest needed to do Wanderer's interlude quest, but the reveals in the story quest are so important. Kazuha is a decadent of the Kaedehara, Niwa, who Kabukimono/Kunikuzushi knew and trusted and Wanderer was the cause of the downfall of the Kaedehara clan which he is willing to face every type of punishment for.
