I invested in a Klein gas detector and a 0ppm-9999ppm CO detector this week because I’m always concerned about hazards, beings my apartment is all gas. Thankfully, I have no leaks or carbon monoxide. The investment is well worth the mental peace of mind everyone.

In NJ you need carbon monoxide detectors and wired smoke detectors to sell a house.

I got a silly question, if the boiler is in the garage. (Mine makes a lot of banging noises has to heat up upper and lower level duplex) How does it travel into the home? Through heater vents?

definitely need to have CM detectors all around your house. Keep em plugged in near heaters and in hallway and bedrooms. So simple to plug in and replace every couple years

its probably corroding because its such a long run in a cool room. will probably need to be replaced every 10-15 yrs. throw some red silicone on the next one.
