@annamiriambrown: He wanted a sleepover with the big three. 💀😭 This is actually one of the first stories in the Bible that made me laugh out loud because of how goofy it was. So, Jesus takes Peter, James and John up onto a mountain and then full on transforms into glory Jesus in front of them (at last, fully revealing His deity to these three). Moses and Elijah show up in glory, representing both the Spirit and the Law. It’s a terrifying holy moment, and the boys are in absolute shock watching this. And then PETER decides to start yapping. 😀“WOW! This is great! Let’s build three tabernacles! One for you, one for Elijah and one for Moses” and the GOD HIMSELF shows up in a cloud, and in a thundering voice is like⚡️🌩️💭🧐🫨 “THIS IS MY SON. Listen to Him!” Basically, “be quiet Peter??? I’m revealing my Son as God and you’re talking about what??”🤨 then all three boys basically faint and Jesus wakes them up and everything is normal again. Jesus is back to His old self. My fav part is that in the Bible it specifically says in Mark 9:6 “for Peter did not know what to say…and they were terrified” before his big foot-in-mouth moment.😂 .
