Well done! In my 20’s to about 33, I was in LA very involved in many spiritual modalities. Having been raised Catholic, I was in heaven expanding myself. There was a point where I saw clearly how the ego was so dominant in people. Many single, trouble committing, just a self centered spirituality. I got it and had, simultaneously studying to be a therapist, and shifted my focus to what I call normal life. The sacredness of doing dishes, working out conflict with your partner, adopting puppies. Although many things I learned in that exploring time came in handy at times in my practice, I was able to create a no bs, down to earth style of working with people when I embraced the awake beingness of life.
