@dr_emilly: Starting skincare over 50? Or even 40. Focus on the basics first: a gentle cleanser, a ceramide rich moisturiser suitable for your skin type, and maybe one or two treatments in serum form that match your actual skin concern, and of course daily sunscreen. Simple, effective skincare for mature skin does not necessarily mean more products – just better choices. #over50skincare #over50skincareproducts #matureskincare #skincareessentials #beginnerskincare

What do you think of Dr melaxin, boh and medicube range? for a 55 year old, as I've only heard of the ones you see on here 😂 I've got some of them all, I've started using vitamin c in mornings and use sun cream if i go out 😊

Emily, thank you for this video perfect timing as always. 😉 lately, I’ve heard some influencers here on TikTok and a few on IG discussing how “gentle cleansers” aren’t really helping our skin-not getting it clean, cleaning out pores, removing makeup and sunscreen, etc. What are your thoughts on this? What gentle cleansers would you recommend that do a great job at both “gentle cleansing” as well as hydrating and barrier protection etc. can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this. 😉🥰

I’m really struggling to find a moisturiser spf duo that I can’t feel on my skin. I am mid forties and still have relatively oily skin especially in the t zone and jawline. Can you just use a hydrating spf and skip moisturiser in the morning and use a richer one in the evenings ?

I’ve always looked after my skin but never really used actives, I got a range from medik8, c-tetra advance, the new peptides and crystal retinal (3) built up really slowly, didn’t overuse been using since November, now all of a sudden I have rosacea never suffered before and I’m 60 next month so no idea what to do now 😫 they’re not cheap either.

How can I deal with PIE? azelaic acid? I do use the prescribed product Adalapene (0.3%) + Benzoyl peroxide (2.5%) gel topical treatment, but how can I deal the marks left by the previous acne? (it's red/brown or a mix of both)

Completely agree with this, although I am loving trying lots of new products and using a lot at the same time BUT only now that I now what they each do and how to use them together and at the right time! 🙏🏻🤩

What cleansers do you recommend? I do think mine are drying but none have exfoliant acids. Remedy is my fave at this time.

I love peach and lily’s oil cleanser and their hydrating foam cleanser, both products leave your skin feel so soft and hydrated.

This is very important actually!! 🙏🙏 You didn’t mention vitamin C. I do use one but I know some people don’t like them. Do you think it’s essential to have vitamin C or not really?

I’m trying to combat híper pigmentation by using cosrx alpha arbutin, skin 1004 brightening ampoule and eucerin dual radiant and I’ve seen an improvement but eucerin irritates my skin. I don’t want to stop using it but I know I should

Educate your skin by Nerida joy gel cleanser is my absolute favorite for all skin types. I did an experiment using a dermascope with major store brands, professional brands. Educate or skin gel cleanser won hands down in every category. No fragrance, deep cleaned pores, decreased inflammation and hydrated. I could see dramatic changed under the dermascope.
